NOMAD019: Blood Moon DJs

The Blood Moon people (or Graham and Lou as some of you may know them) play a truly eclectic set, spanning Punk, Hiphop, Post rock, Bleeps and Beats and more. Some of the tunes you’ll know, some of them you won’t, but you’ll want to find out. So do I! This was recorded live at HippoGreen the other week and jolly good it is too. Arrrr! Eclecticism on the high seas of Manchester! Arrrrrr!!

NOMAD018: Techno

This week it’s a techno sound, brought to your loving ears by DJ Ben from next door. Not so much your big room bangers, though there are a fair few bangs- sounds like the Surgeon, the mental/ly skilled Mark Hawkins, also Reekos Spanish drum-loops vibe, and a timely cautionary tale by the boys from U.R. In the enormous tune Crackzilla. Ben cut his teeth on the Technival circuit years ago,and listen out for his breaks and electro sounds down the line.
