Yes , yes the time has come for the mighty Radiohead to be a la “mash-up/fucked up” by the, ahem ‘legaandary’…….Jay-Z.  I used to curl my toes (and knickers) in pain at the thought of those who attempted to make an entertaining re-mix, and in doing so automatically misconstrue their greatness.

Nowadays I’ve lost my angst a bit and am up for a laugh.  Easy Star All- Stars ‘Radiodread’ had some nod-worthy tracks and I hear that the Lonely heart dub band mix is also worth a listen or two.

But Jay-Z? C’mom…….Jadiohead ! Haha, well, what i can say for it is that it had me in proper stitches…..and I kinda liked flicking through the tracks.  Initially this was as I responded to the awesome sounds of Radiohead in the background….but also the sensitive, carefully crafted  lyrics and titles- “No Karma” a heartbreaking rendition of the hard-knock life of Mr JZ and how his choices are, of course, an example of what you get if you “mess with us”- he does plead you to “not categorise this as music”, which is a relief.  Would like to know what a ra-ta-tataaa is though?

And They say Tom is a whinger! Man. Shieeeeeeeeeeeet
