NOMAD036: DJ Xander’s Cold Blooded Cuts
LIZARDS! Manchester’s legendary DJ Xander delivers a mix that has nothing to do with lizards, as far as I can tell, apart from it’s name, loosely referencing those animals of an ectothermic persuasion. It’s pretty much reggae, which sounds quite warm actually. I don’t know where I’m going with this one. Have a listen anyway. It’s an absolute belter!

DJ Xander and Planet Sutcliffe mash it up at the Beat Herder festival 2007, in deepest , muddiest Lancashire. If you weren’t there, you should have been… or you should go next time… Fuckin’ quality! The set’s a mix of funk, reggae, hip-hop, breakbeats, four-to-the-floor and electro…. and very good it is too. Very good indeed
